Stuffed cones from left over roties


Ingredients:-

2-3 left over roties chapati and maida

3-4 boiled potatoes

1-2 finely chopped onions

5-7 garlic and 1/2 inch ginger paste

2-3 green chilli paste

10 gms or 1/3 cup boiled pea (मटर) you can use frozen too

20 grams or 1/4 cup sweet corn finely crushed (optional)

For making it healthy you can add capsicum & carrot too..!! Its completely optional

250 litre or 2cups of oil for deep frying

Sev bhujiya for decoration ….!!! If you love cheese then go for it..!! Else skip <<<i am skipping it>>>

2 Tsp coriander powder

1/4 Tsp haldi powder (turmeric)

1/2 Tsp each of msala :——

amchur powder (mango powder) , garam masala powder , tea masala powder, cinnamon powder , cumin powder , black pepper , black salt each one of them 1/2 tsp

2-3 Tsp Oil, some mustard seeds and cumin seeds

1 tej patta , pinch of cardamom and cloves powder

Pinch of sugar

salt as per taste

Finely chopped onions and capsicum

Lets make filling or stuffing:-

In a pan (कढ़ाई) add oil and heat it

Then Add mustard and cumin seeds, green chilli paste , garlic ginger paste , tej patta, cinnamon powder, cloves and cardamom powder and turmeric powder

Add onion, carrot, capsicum, corn, pea and sauté it for few mins untill it turns to golden brown

Add boiled and mashed potatoes…

Add all the remaining masalas like coriander powder , mango powder , garam masala , tea masala, black salt, black pepper, sugar, salt as per taste

Mix it well and cook it with love… untill its done…!!

Set it side and lets make cone

Take roti and cut it in four part 1/4 each do it with scissors to make it perfect.

Now make slurry of maida and water …!! Mix well without lumps

It should be of lil thick consistency

Apply it to all the openings of roti

Now apply the slurry in one of the border and give a cone shape

Do it very carefully as it may break

Not to worry with the breakages apply slurry to fix it back

After you are done with making cones

Fill stuffing inside cone and dip the cone in slurry to pack the mouth (top) [or to cover the opening the top of cone]

Make sure the filling should not come out of cone.

And heat the oil for frying and just deep fry it..!! Till it turns crispy or golden brown…!!

For decoration :- dip the top of cone in sauce or chutney and coat with bhujiya or cheese ….!!!

Now its ready to sever ..!! You can serve it hot or cool as you prefer…!! Its healthy , delicious and tempting …
