Red velvet cake

This is how I decorated it…!! You can make it the way you want…!! 

Let’s go straight for ingredients…

  • 1 1/2 cup plain floor or maida
  • 1/2 Table spoon coco powder
  • 1/2 cup powder sugar
  • 3/4 Teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 Teaspoon red food coloring (I prefer powder color)
  • A pinch of orange color (powder)
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Milk 
  • 3/4 cup condensed milk
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla essence


    You need a baking dish and oven and hunger…. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰

    Steps to make :-

      •  first of all Keep your oven for preheating. { You can look here for same }
      • Put some melted butter in baking dish spread it around, also add plain flour and grease with it.
      • Take the powder food color and mix it with milk and place it side
      • Now take a big bowl put butter
      • Add sugar and again mix it.
      • Add condensed milk and half amount of milk and give it a good whisk.
      • Now in other bowl  sieve plain flour, baking powder and baking soda , coco powder.
      • mix it in the previously made wet mixture.
      •  Add vanilla essence. And food color{mixed with milk as mentioned above} Whisk it well.
      • Now add remaining milk part by part to make the batter of pouring consistency.
      • Mix the batter well and make it lumps free.
      • Pour the batter on the properly greased baking dish. 
      • And place it inside the pre heated oven for 35-40 mins. Or until the toothpick comes out to be clean.
      • Now your red velvet cake is ready to eat…!!! 

    Decorate it with the kind of icing you want to use….!!!
